Leave the M50 at the Knocklyon/Firhouse exit (exit 12). Get into the left lane slip road and take the Rathfarnham/Ballyboden road, on to Scholarstown road (going into the city) on the R113. Travel for approx 300m and you will face a roundabout. Go straight through the roundabout, taking the 2nd exit onto Scholarstown Road. After approx 100m, St Colmcille's Community School entrance is on the right. Drive in and find a car parking space at the front or also around the back you can park on the basketball courts.

From the Old Bawn Shopping Centre / Old Mill Pub take the R113. At the traffic lights at the Old Mill pub, go straight through and travel for approx 1.6km through 2 roundabouts until you arrive at traffic lights. Go straight through the traffic lights onto Scholarstown road, travelling for another 1km, over the M50 at junction 12 (through two sets of traffic lights) until you arrive at a roundabout. Go straight through the roundabout, taking the 2nd exit onto Scholarstown Road. After approx 100m, St Colmcille's Community School entrance is on the right. Drive in and find a car parking space at the front or around the back you can park on the basketball courts.

The no. 15 bus is a regular bus which travels from the city centre regularly towards Knocklyon and stops beside the school where we meet, the stop number is 4869 or 4887. The no. 15b also travels near the school, and stop 7446 is only a short walk away.
